Island build 3 fantastic exhibition stands at IBC 2014…….

Island Exhibitions have recently returned from a two week stay in Amsterdam where we installed at the IBC 2014 show, three  fantastic exhibition stands, all built in our UK workshop. IBC 2014 this year attracted over 55,000 visitors, who witnessed more than 1700 exhibitors covering 50,000 sqm of display space.

IBC is the essential global meeting place for everyone engaged in creating, managing and delivering the future of electronic media, entertainment technology and content. Featuring an influential conference and world-class exhibition, IBC immerses professionals from over 170 countries in an unrivalled experience which affords the chance to trade and educate, to debate and connect, to challenge, strategize and innovate with the very companies and leaders shaping the market.

Island Exhibitions were responsible for constructing on site over 300 sqm of exhibits, our largest stand was for Arqiva, a communications infrastructure and media services company. Their stand is  180 sqm with 3 large eyecatching geometric arches spanning the space, boldly coloured and displaying graphic messages these ensured Arqivas’ stand was noticed from all around the hall. The stand offered relaxing hospitality spaces and also allowed people to learn about the vital part Arqiva plays in helping people and companies communicate around the world.

Our second stand was built for Piksel, Piksel create and manage OTT video monetization solutions for some of the world’s leading media brands: AT&T U-verse, BSkyB, Channel 4, Mediaset, Sky Deutschland, Sky Italia, Vodafone and more. using bright primary colours for the flooring and walling, this was another eyecatching stand. With a lot to fit in to their 11m x 8m site, Design Original designed a double decker stand with glass balustrade around the first floor increasing the floor space available.

Digisoft was our third and final stand at IBC 2014, also designed by Design Original, this bright clean stand, predominantly in white with splashes of yellow and blue was another great success. The white walls were covered with graphics providing information about Digisoft.tv,  a leading global provider of set-top box software for the cable, satellite, terrestrial and telecommunications industry. A small meeting area, store, and plenty of tv screens completed the compact yet effective stand. .
